How secure is my order?
This site uses 128-bit encryption and authentication tools to protect your personal information. Encryption is the standard means of protecting information transferred between two parties over the Internet. All transactions are carried out using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This protects information being transmitted on-line by automatically applying to the message an encryption code that is "unreadable" to a computer that is not the intended recipient. Sensitive information such as credit card details and customer records are not held on our web site.
Back 2 Basics recordings will not sell or pass on any customer details such as names, addresses or email addresses to any third parties.

Do I have to sign up with an account to order from you?
Due to the nature of the site with regards to mp3 sales, an account needs to be set up as it allows you to return to the site after payment has been processed. As you are logged in, the download gateway is opened which allows you to download your purchased mp3, quickly, securely and safely.
How do I log in to my account?
You can log in to your existing account in 2 ways. If you haven’t logged in but have done some shopping, after you click 'checkout' you will be prompted to log in. You do this by simply entering the email address and password you used to create your account. You can also log in and enter you details my clicking on the 'my account' in the top right hand of the page.
What do I do if I've forgotten my password?
On the right hand side of the page where you are asked to sign in or create a new account, below 'returning customer' there is an option 'password forgotten: click here'. Once you have clicked you will then be asked to enter you email address, we will then simply email your password to you.
How do I change my account details?
As soon as you log in you will be presented with 'my account information'. Here you can make changes to all your account / password / subscriptions etc details
How do I find the item I want?
Simply search for the items you are after by either using the 'quick find' feature at the bottom left (you can enter artist, track or Catalogue number). You can also use the 'Artists' drop down menu to sort all products available from your favorite artist. There is also an 'advanced search' should you wish to locate the exact item you are looking for.
How do I purchase the item?
Once you have located the item you would like, click the 'buy now' or 'add to cart' button.
How do I delete items?
This can be done by viewing your cart in 'cart contents' in the top right hand corner, or by clicking on the 'shopping cart' arrow directly below, also in the top right hand corner. You will then have the choice to tick the 'remove' check box. Then click 'update' and you selected item will be removed.
How do I change the quantity of an item?
This can be done by viewing your cart in 'cart contents' in the top right hand corner, or by clicking on the 'shopping cart' arrow directly below, also in the top right hand corner. You will then have the choice to enter an amount in the 'quantity' check box. Then click 'update' and your selected items quantity will be changed and your cart contents re-calculated.
I have finished shopping, what do I do next?
Just click on the "Checkout" button, just below and to the right of your order, and go through the following steps:
If you are a new customer you can create your own customer account. By creating an account at Back2Basics Records you will be able to shop faster, be up to date on an orders status, and keep track of the orders you have previously made. It also makes it easier to return to download your purchased mp3's.
If your are an existing / returning customer, once you have logged in, and after clicking 'checkout' you will then be presented with the 'delivery information' page. Here you can check your delivery address details, select your shipping method, add comments to your order.
Once you have finished on the 'delivery information' page click 'continue' at the bottom right.
'Payment information'
Here you will be able to select your method of payment.
Pay pal
Pay pal (credit / debit)
Credit and debit cards
Telephone or fax order.
'Order confirmation'
Before the payment of your order is about to be taken, you will need to confirm your order. This page will clearly show you DELIVERY ADDRESS, PRODUCTS YOU HAVE ORDERED, SHIPPING METHOD YOU HAVE CHOSEN, BILLING ADDRESS & PAYMENT ADDRESS YOU HAVE CHOSEN, all of which can be edited at this time by clicking on the corresponding 'edit' button. Once you have read and checked your order and all is correct click 'confirm order' which will then send you payment page relating to the method you have chosen.
Due you charge vat?
We charge all EU countries 17.5% vat on all goods.

How do the downloads work?
Download purchases are made in exactly the same way as standard purchases, when you have returned to the back2basics site from the payment portal you will see a section at the bottom of the page that says Download links, to download the file simply click on the track name and you will be prompted to download a zip file that contains your High Quality MP3. |
